Arboretum 2009

We went to the Arboretum yesterday so Laney was happy to have more pictures taken with the pumpkins on our front porch.

She ran and ran all over the Arboretum. It was so beautiful and the weather could not have been better.

I really wanted her to wear her Halloween tutu from Grandma but supposedly 'it hurt' so we ended up in a pumpkin t-shirt instead. She has strong opinions about her clothes these days.

Happy (early) Birthday Nana!

We celebrated Nana's 49th birthday a little early and Laney couldn't wait to blow out the candles! After she blew them out she said, "let's eat cake"...! 

She's anxiously waiting for me to give her a piece of cake!

Nana fixed her hair in two pony tails and she couldn't help checking herself out in the mirror.

Pumpkin Patch

We made our first trip to the pumpkin patch this year and it was cold! We found out that Laney is allergic to hay after she got hives on her hands. She wasn't her usual happy self so she must have been uncomfortable. The rest of us had fun!

She wasn't the least bit afraid of the animals.

After church she posed with her new pumpkin!

True Fan

We all cheered hard for the Chiefs to beat the Cowboys. Maybe next time!

Laney found one of my t-shirts and wanted to wear it so she could match her new favorite stuffed animal (Bongo).

And the Birthday Continues...

We celebrated Laney's birthday with the McCabe's and she loved every minute of the spot light!

Klanci got her the cutest Elmo tickle fingers! She danced around with them giving everyone high fives!

Check out this easel from Pops and Grandma! Laney loves drawing on the chalkboard side and erasing. It's been hours of entertainment already.

Birthday at Build-a-Bear

Braden and Dawson got Laney a gift card to Build a Bear so we had lots of fun picking out this monkey (Bongo) on her birthday. Bongo and Laney have matching shoes!
