Snow!

We only got a few inches of snow on Sunday but it was enough to make Laney VERY happy!

Here's the crew before they headed out. Cosmo came in first. He's not a fan of the white stuff. Laney didn't mind the cold at all. Her favorite part is eating the snow (ick!).

Christmas in Kansas City

We arrived at Deb's on Christmas Eve! Laney was so excited to see snow even if it was just a dusting. Here are a few pictures we took before Christmas Eve service.

Laney was in awe when she saw that Santa (via Nana) had come through on the American Girl Lanie doll she was hoping for. Lanie doll goes everywhere with us these days.

Laney and Dawson both got roller skates for Christmas. By the afternoon they were both skating without help.

Christmas in Broken Arrow

We celebrated Christmas with the McCabe's (part 2) on Christmas Eve, Eve.

Laney tore right into her many gifts! She sort of lost interest in most everything else once she found the princess miniatures and the princess barbies!

Christmas at Dac and Jayne's

We had fun celebrating Christmas at Dac and Jayne's new place! Laney got this adorable cupcake apron (along with many other awesome gifts).

Dance Performance at Santa's Village

Laney had her first ballet performance at the Richardson Santa's Village Christmas. It was a cold night but the dancers didn't seem to mind. Dru tried to get it on video but it didn't work out. Her face lit up the second she hit the stage. I think she's going to be a performer!

The Polar Express

We took the kids to Grapevine to ride the Polar Express Train. It was one of the coldest days we've had this year. The kids wear their pajamas, see a little Christmas show, walk through fake snow and then see Santa on the train ride. It was very entertaining!

Laney, Reese, Brooke and Hudson shared a seat on the train to the North Pole. Hattie and Lea are in the seat behind. They sang Christmas carols and shook hands with Santa!

Before the train ride Laney got to sit on Santa's lap for a picture. Surprisingly she wasn't scared of him!

Here they are running around while the parents waited in line for the show. The cold weather didn't phase them.

Here we are walking through the tree farm with the fake snow (it's a little hard to see in the photo). Laney's eyes lit up when she saw the snow. She's dying for it to snow in Texas!

Thanksgiving 2010

We made the drive to Marshall for Thanksgiving and had a great time! Laney is obsessed with her cousins and loved spending every second right by their side.

Dru is so good to play with the kids and they love him for it! Here they are riding the horsy!

So excited to see Nana! They are probably buttering her up so she'll give them another cookie!

Bedtime is always entertaining! We had two air mattresses for the three of them. It worked well for the most part.
