Birthday, Birthday, Birthday!

Dawson was really good at driving the jeep so Laney was content as the passenger for most of the weekend. They put major miles on the new ride...going all the way down Tam O'Shanter at one point!

Nothing like a little leftover birthday cake for breakfast!

We took a trip to Build-A-Bear and the girls got matching puppies...both named Hanna!

3rd Birthday!

After much anticipation, September 17th finally arrived and Laney turned 3! She woke up early on her birthday so we started celebrating immediately!

By 6:45 am she was blowing out the candles on her strawberry cake!

She was thrilled with her pink jeep! Dru covered it up with a blanket out in the garage and she was so surprised when he uncovered it! Thanks Nana, Umps and Meemee!

By 7am she was cruising in the back yard. We need to work on steering AND pushing the pedal at the same time!

She opened more presents from Dru and I that morning! The partying had just begun!

First Day at New Preschool!

Laney's first day of preschool was a success! She was so proud to be in preschool and very brave. No tears thank goodness! Even though she's technically been in school before...it felt very special. :)

Here she is with her teacher, Mrs. Oliphant. She was distracted so this is the best picture I could get. Laney says she is SO nice! She asked me if I knew that Mrs. Oliphant had 3 kids of her own? I guess they talked about it on the first day.

First Nap in Toddler Bed

We converted Laney's crib to the toddler bed and so far so good! The past two mornings she has called me in to tell me that Froggie is trying to get out of bed without asking!

Aquarium

Laney was SO excited to visit the Aquarium with her buddy Kesler. Dru and I were happy for indoor entertainment!

Last Weekend in July

Nana and Umps came to town for a wedding (and to see Laney of course)!

Umps helps Laney with her new coloring book.

Nana and Umps came with us to art class. Nana is helping Laney trace some animals.

She was very proud of the card she made for Meemee's Birthday!
