Christmas in Snowy KC

It was truly a blizzard on Christmas Eve but that didn't stop us from sprinkling reindeer food out on the lawn for Rudolph and team.

Here's a shot of the cabinet. I got so excited about the outfits that I didn't get a very good shot of the actual wardrober. Once we get it to Richardson I'll post more pics. It's really awesome!
Christmas in Broken Arrow
Laney had a blast hanging out with Pops, Grandma and the rest of the McCabe clan. Pops built her a costume cabinet and she LOVED it! It came all set up with various costumes, shoes, hats and handbags. Look for more photos in the next post but here's my favorite shot. I love her combination of Snow White, the fireman hat, the boa and her black evening bag. True personal style!

Thanksgiving
We were in Broken Arrow for Thanksgiving. Laney, Dru and Pops were just getting ready to put the Turkey in the smoker.

Nana's Visit (November 20th)
Nana came to see us the weekend before Thanksgivng. They had fun making banana bars together and as you can see Laney's favorite part is the icing! That's my girl!
She made a few rounds on the carousel at the mall while we did some Christmas shopping.
Even Dru got to ride!

Braden's 6th Birthday
We were so excited to have Aunt Debbie and the cousins visit. We celebrated Braden's 6th Birthday and Debbie's 29th! Here they are posing during a round of mini golf.
Braden had an ice cream cake for his b-day. Aunt Leslee and the girls were much more excited about the cake than Braden.
We're ready for cake...bring it on!

Chuck E. Cheese
They flew all the way from KC just to end up at Chuck E. Cheese! Laney just had to see the mouse but then got star struck and scared when he came by to say hello.
She was a little unsure of everything but she liked the red car.
With their tickets the girls chose suckers. Laney had to unwrap both of hers and eat them at the same time.

Grandma's Birthday Party!
We spent the weekend at an awesome cabin in Broken Bow to celebrate Grandma's 60th birthday. Sorry Matsy, I couldn't leave out the milestone number (60 is the new 40)! We had a blast hanging out with Grandma, Pops, Aunt Klanci, Uncle Dac and Jayne. You never would have known that Laney had just been sick with the flu. Here she is helping blow out the candles.
She loved helping Grandma open her presents!

We made friends with Tupac, a puppy from across the woods.
We took an exhilarating train ride (ha, ha) through the park!
The cabin had an awesome play area. Laney referred to it as the park.
